Nestled in the heart of London’s bustling Covent Garden neighborhood is the opulent yet inviting Rosewood London. Enter through the carriageway on High Holburn to a spacious cobblestone courtyard stocked with Ferraris and Bentleys evenly parked outside the hotel’s main entrance. Housed in a former Edwardian mansion, the hotel’s facade is breathtaking. Originally constructed in 1912 the building’s defining feature is found on the inside, where a Renaissance-style marble staircase climbs seven stories toward a large elliptical dome at its zenith, affording guests a most welcome opportunity to take the stairs. Contemporary rooms with high ceilings, oversized window frames and ornate marble bathtubs offer old time London charm, along with modern luxuries you might expect at a 5-star hotel like personal Nespresso machines and made to order acai bowls.
